So. Let’s not waste time, beating around the bush. Let’s get down to the nitty gritty. Facing yourself is NOT easy and will prove to be one of the hardest things you’ll ever have to do. You can hide a million things from the public’s eyes, within the tuck of your smile, but when you return home to those four walls— there is but you, in the silence, with the truth.
We do everything we can to get away from the inevitable; that face to face
with truth— with ourselves. We become submerged within the hustle and bustle of everyday life: religion, work, family and friends, to conceal our internal undoings— fronting the ego, fear the zombies buried alive within us, should ever be exposed. Silence becomes but a place of unrest, to a hoarder of distractions.
