A FRIEND: I don’t believe in love anymore…I’ve just been hurt too many times.
MY RESPONSE: it’s not so much that u don’t believe in LOVE-cause I believe you still do… the problem may be that you no longer believe (trust) in people enough to be loved again. Sometimes one hurt is ENOUGH- WE CANT BEAR to deal with the pain again.. But LOVE IS COURAGE… It’s about CHANCE, THE RISK…and if you are not willing to lay it on the line EVERY SINGLE TIME- you only cheat yourself..Try not to focus on what the person did to you, how they disappointed you, etc… and focus on HOW LOVE MADE YOU FEEL.. LOVE DIDNT LET YOU DOWN- THE PERSON DID. I think thats a mistake we have all made at one time.. we think because we got hurt it was love- but no it was just that person. DON’T LET THEM ROB U OF LOVING AGAIN. I’m sure someone needs you!
